OMPE’s mission is to contribute to the global preservation of the environment and biodiversity through the reflection and implementation of innovative technological projects, for a better life together and to ensure the sustainability of humanity and the planet!

Founded in 2013 by Gilles Lazzarini, OMPE (World Organisation for the Protection of the Environment) is a French NGO dedicated entirely to the defence and protection of nature, the environment and animals. Since the beginning, our global environmental NGO has been proposing concrete solutions and projects and has been carrying out numerous actions in favour of environmental and animal protection. Our digital visibility allows us to attract thousands of Internet users every year and to receive many supports to ensure the development of our NGO. Today, OMPE has more than 150 members, 13,000 Facebook members and 80,000 unique visitors per month (from France and around the world) on its website. We are simply one of the largest environmental and animal NGOs, committed to sustainable development and renewable energy.

“Cinema loves our Planet” with the OMPE in Cannes

Retrospective of the successful campaign: “Cinema Loves our Planet” during the 12 days of the 2018 Cannes Movie Festival where OMPE has recovered hundreds of signatures and words of support into its Golden Book. Artists, producers, directors are very sensitive to the environmental cause ! Good job of the whole OMPE and all the teams ! Thank you all for your support !

Weekend with the Main French Animal Associations

The “ANIMAL SUPER FORCE” of the Alpes Maritimes (France) which gathered together 6 French associations of Animal Protection, was standing this Weekend in Villeneuve Loubet (France) with the presence of L214, Without Voice, It is enough, AVF, Green and OMPE ! Talkings, games, leaflets, flyers, and a beautiful conference of the 6 associations around the Noble Animal Cause ! Charity song for the Animals with the Stars of the 80’s

Charity Song for Animals with Stars of the 80’s. This song haw been composed by Gil Emmanuel, Lyrics Thibaud Couturier, Arrangements Bruno Mylonas (Vanessa Paradis Sound Engineer), with the kind participation of Michael Jones (JJ Goldman), JP Mader, Pauline Ester, Mario of the band Image, etc…

2017 : OMPE launches the campaign “Stop, that’s enough !” requesting the organization of the States General on forest fires. This campaign generated citizen mobilization and collected more than 75,000 signatures. OMPE appeals to 21 countries affected by drought and forest fires. 

2018 : OMPE presents its 5 Projects to save the Planet. She takes opportunity of the 2018 Cannes Film Festival to organize the « Cinema Likes the Planet » campaign in order to highlight the environmental and animal cause. OMPE obtains hundreds of signatures and words of support from artists, producers and directors. The same year, we support the « Affaire du Siècle », the most popular petition in French history with more than 2 million signatures. 

2019 : OMPE presents its new project : the Green Box through the implementation of the Global Environmental Transition Plan (GETP) and MAGMA (Management of Green Money Application). This project aims to stop financial occlusions in the ecology, to tax polluting companies and to encourage green businesses. 

Comme beaucoup d’autres associations et ONGs de protection de la nature (France Nature Environnement, WWF, Fondation Nicolas Hulot…), l’OMPE déplore la dégradation de notre cadre de vie, de la qualité de l’air et de l’eau, la disparition d’espèces animales et végétales et l’accentuation du réchauffement climatique et de ses conséquences. Les domaines d’actions de l’ONG sont donc multiples et se regroupent autour de thèmes principaux sur lesquels nous travaillons depuis 6 ans :

• La biodiversité et les animaux : parce que plus d’un million d’espèces sont aujourd’hui menacées d’extinction (mammifères marins, amphibiens, chauves-souris…), nous réclamons la mise en place de parcs Charles Darwin pour sauver les espèces en voie de disparition. Nous demandons également que soit créée la Génothèque Mondiale afin de prélever et stocker les génomes des espèces en voie de disparition du monde entier.
• La qualité de l’air et de l’eau : depuis notre création, nous donnons l’alerte sur la protection de l’eau et des sols mais aussi sur la pollution de l’air. Les GES (gaz à effet de serre) et les particules fines envahissent notre cadre de vie et mettent en péril notre santé. La mise en place de l’absorbeur de CO2 et gaz à effet de serre permettrait le ralentissement du réchauffement climatique et le nettoyage de l’air au travers d’absorbeurs placés partout dans le monde, dans les sites et paysages concernés par l’urbanisme.
• Le réchauffement climatique et ses conséquences : en plus de l’absorbeur de CO2 capable de baisser le niveau des gaz à effet de serre, nous proposons un nouveau système d’extinction des feux de forêts, principales conséquences du réchauffement climatique : le SEURFF.
• La lutte contre les plastiques dans les océans : les océans sont des espaces naturels précieux, trop souvent considérés comme des poubelles. Pour assurer la protection aquatique, protéger la faune sauvage et préserver les écosystèmes marins, nous souhaitons créer un principe de récupération et de recyclage commun pour chaque vortex.

L’OMPE souhaite également concrétiser d’autres projets comme le code environnement CMPE (Code Mondial pour la Protection de l’Environnement) ou encore le projet Ombre pour la lutte en temps réel des TGVC (Très Grosses Vagues de Chaleur).

OMPE was founded in September 2013 by Gilles Lazzarini, a former IBM engineer, who is both a composer and a businessman. The headquarters of our NGO of general interest is located in Villeneuve-Loubet, in the Alpes-Maritimes. A lover of music and himself a singer, Gilles Lazzarini surrounds himself with many public figures to publicize the activities of his NGO for the approved environment. OMPE quickly received the support of singers such as Douchka, Jean-Pierre Mader, Michael Jones, Pauline Ester, the Image group, but also actors and writers. All are sensitive to the cause defended by Gilles Lazzarini and his team. 

Over the months, OMPE is one of the most active environmental protection associations and NGOs in France. From Paris to Bordeaux, from Lyon to Lille to Nanterre, the actions carried out by OMPE are echoed. In 2016, the collective of French artists performs with Gilles Lazzarini the song “Avec toi, Avec nous” for the benefit of endangered animals. Indeed, the protection of the most fragile animals, which are now endangered by human action, has always been at the center of OMPE’s struggles. Watched more than 12,000 times on Youtube, the song “Avec toi, Avec nous” has become the emblem of our NGO.

Unlike other environmental and nature protection associations, OMPE is a completely independent NGO. It is not linked to any political, ideological or religious entity or group. To defend our living environment and our natural spaces, protect biodiversity and wildlife, alert policies, promote sustainable development, set up our projectsand our actions while ensuring the functioning of our NGO, we rely only on the donations of members, benefactors (companies or patrons) and subsidies. Today, we are proud to act in all honesty and transparency in order to transform the wishes of the general public into concrete actions. To help OMPE protect the environment, you can donate online or by post.
